thumbnail quality in photogallery

I have used the phot gallery tool to create a page of photos. The pics are
resized for web viewing and good quality. The thumbnails are REALLY bad
though. Especially if I increase the size of the thumbnail. Any suggestions?
Is the alternative to create a gallery manually?
Are there any 3rd party programs I could use with FP?

Could be partially because the proportions aren't the same between the tn &
the big one...but FP is not terrific at image manipulation anyway. You can
try IrFanview (freebie).

You need to adjust your thumbnail size setting so that FP create larger size small images. Any time
you adjust the image size by just changing the size or dragging the image, the image will be
distorted.

I did do the resizing within the photogallery properties setting window.
I didn't touch the originals or tn manually.

In Infranview do I create a gallery and then just paste or import it into FP?
I worry about how touchy FP is about non FP code.

No, I meant to suggest using IrFanview to make thumbs, resize, optimize,
rename...etc.
JAlbum (another freebie) is great for slide shows if that's what your
looking for. I think IrFanview's slide shows are for localmachine
only...IIRC.

IrfanView will create an html slide show.

Requires editing the html files afterwards, or editing the html template beforehand.
Editing beforehand obviously much easier.
