Thumbnail image changing

After I have imported an image onto a page I tend to auto thumbnail it.
Recently, the thumbnail automatically changes the image to give a bevelled
edge. I am using FrontPage98, and this problem has occurred only in the last
couple of months after years of it being fine.

That's an option that is probably inadvertently checked??

Go to:
Tools
Page Options
Auto Thumbnail
Uncheck Beveled edge & Border - save changes
