place your photos on one page...probably should do this one at a time...then click on the photo...then use the thumbnail tool (it will appear on the bottom toolbar).

there are other ways of doing this as well. if you have a zillion thumbs to create it may be easier with a third party image program (lots of free ones that do this as a batch procedure)
