Thumb Drive Remove

I keep getting error "busy cannot remove drive" when I click on safely
remove hardware. I remove anyway but would like to do it correctly.
It used to work correctly. Any ideas how to correct this problem?

microsoft.public.windowsxp.general is carried by free server:
