this page can not be displayed

i get this message, "this page can not be displayed"
about half the time. i can just hit the refresh button
one or two times and the web page does open. this is an
awfully slow way to go. this just started in the last
four weeks and seems to be getting worse. it happens
when i log on to my home page (msn.com). i just hit
refresh and up comes the home page. it happens after
that as i surf the web. i have cable and it goes fast.
i did recently install the google tool bar. that is
all. any ideas???
 
This is also happening to me, I can't even get my hotmail
anymore using IE6, but Mozilla works fine. I noticed that
IE6 is not retaining Proxy information and IP & port info,
soetimes it's there, sometimes not. I'm using a Direcway
system and like you with IE6 it has become to slow. I post
if I find a solution. Good Luck
