This is ridiculous

I have been working on the slow startup problem for hours with no success.
I have tried various utilities that look at your startup programs. I have
tried BootVis, but evidently this does not work with SP2. I have tried to
manually select startup programs to eliminate but that is tough to do.

I need a good program that will analyze the startup sequence, generate
statistics where the time is being spent (profiler), etc. Any suggestions?

Bootvis.msi works well with XP SP2.
Will not work without at least service pack1 and doesn't play well with P-4
CPU's without a patch.
