Since I do not see any Windows Server 2003 specific newsgroups right now, I
am posting here.
Hopefully someone will point me in the right direction if I missed
something...

This thread at talkroot.com deals with a similar problem to one I am
having...
The Microsoft Rep that was replying is David Wang
This is the error I am getting:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: W3SVC
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1005
Date: 3/11/2004
Time: 12:26:52 PM
User: N/A
Computer: ONS1SCRDG
Description:
The World Wide Web Publishing Service is exiting due to an error.
The data field contains the error number.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Data:
0000: 8007054e
This is a newly installed and configured server running as a member server
in a domain.
The data word is different from the one mentioned in the thread, but then
this is also not a domain controller.
I may try reinstalling, IIS, but I would like feedback, if I can get it...
