I have that message of some of my downloaded media files such as mp3s
or WMVs.

Securtiy: "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to
help protect this computer".

Why? How do i disable that feature and WHY DOES IT APPEAR? How do i
disable the "block" feature as i don't want to see it again?

I'm running XP Pro SP2.

Please help. Best regards.

Where are these files being downloaded from, and via what method?

This situation occurs only if you:

1-Download files using Internet Explorer 6.0 (SP2 version)
2-Have Windows XP with SP2

I found a solution for newer files.

run gpedit.msc
Goto: User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows
Components > Attachment Manager
Enable: Do not preserve zone information in file attachments

Will only take effect on new files.

For existing files:

1. Right-click the file and choose Properties. Click the "Unblock" button.
or
2. Move the file(s) to a FAT32 partition (if available) and move it back.
The zone information will be reset.

No - it also affects files downloaded with eMule.

I found a solution for newer files.

Does not work. New files downloaded by eMule still are blocked.
