thinclient and access2000 apps

We are discussing starting to use thinclients (citrix terminals) here
at our plant.
I was wondering if those clients would be able to run my access
applications. I have several written in Access2000. All of them have
a backend on a network drive and the frontend installed on each
workstation (no terminals right now).

How does this work? Is anyone doing it now? Any issues I should know
about before I jump in?

Thanks for any input.

Absolutely yes. I've seen and used Citrix on an Access 2000 database. I
prefer using Windows Terminal Server for my own installations because it is
significantly less expensive than Citrix. Then again, Citrix is a more
feature filled application.

The caveats:

1. You MUST build and use a separate folder for each user on the Citrix
server and put their frontends in those folders. Do not try running any
other way or you risk corruption.

2. Test report printing, especially local printing There are occasional
printing problems. If you run into them, have a look at:

as a possible solution.
