Thin blue lines

Someone sent me an MSWord document. Some of the words in the text seem to be
embedded in rectangles constructed of thin blue lines.
What are these "boxes" and how can I eliminate them?
Thanx in advance.

davidrafky,
Open the Word document, under FILE> Print Preview.
1. If the lines are not present in the print preview. The creator of the
document used a Table, to help with how the document looked or was laid out,
before it was printed.
2. Look under Help in Word to find out how to hide and show borders in
tables.
3. I usually just highlight the whole table once it's setup, change the
color of the border lines to white, and then the gridlines are not visible.
