There has to be a better way

When you load a form from a combo box selected item. How do you pass the
value back after clearing the bindings, and still have all the values
still in it. I am using the selectedindex number right now, with the
selectedchangedcommitted, but this doesn’t work the way I want it to. If
anyone has a better way of do this that would be great.

In the way as you wrote it, I thought directly use the datasource.
