Theme background color won't change

I am a new FP2003 user and was getting along OK until I
tried to change my copy of the bold stripes theme
backgound color to white (it was plain grey before). I
now have grey and white stripes and cannot get back to
grey. My slightly different backup copy is still in grey
and uses the same theme!
Also, is anyone having problems with the Preview button?
This worked fine in FP2000 but not at all in FP2003.

Thanks

Did you apply the theme using the background image option
If so, it rules over the background color

Stefan,
I applied the same theme as I have running on another
copy of the site I am also working on. This one presents
itself fine in grey and has bstrbk.gif as the selected
background image under the customise graphics tab. When I
remove this from my original site in progress the grey
and white stripes disappear and it reverts to plain
grey. So, I see what you are saying but I seem to have
two conflicting occurrences whilst using the same theme.
Perhaps as a newbie I am still missing something
fundamental and obvious to everyone else! Thanks for the
response.
Jill
