The Zalman fan controller

Ok, first off lets not get into " why are you asking here". I'm asking here
because I'm using a HP Pavilion 503n PC running Windows XP Home edition and I
was getting pop-up blocks anytime I tried to put a message with this PC. I
usually just read the messages and post messages with my laptop. That even
came to an end 2 days ago and I got fed up and had my hard drive wiped clean
on a factory installation, factory ready lets say, by doing a complete new
installation of the OS on my Dell 9400/E1705 laptop. By luck now, I just held
down the Ctrl key and hit New question and this box came up. So might as well
ask the question here.
I finished installing the Zalman CNPS9700 LED cooler and now I have to
install the plastic fan controller. It turns out the CPU fan connector on the
mobo is on the side of the Zalman that has the label. So now I have to swing
the wire controls onto the other side. If I had installed it the other way it
wouldn't have to bend around the cooler to install onto the motherboard.
What do you think I should do. Should I uninstall it and turn it around, or
leave it just how it is and swing it around the cooler?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, attilathehun1

If you keep ringing your doctor because of a medical
complaint, and if the number is always busy, it may not
be very productive to ring McDonalds instead just because
their number answers immediately. Yet this is what you
did here, and you did not get much of a response. You
really must try a hardware newsgroup.

What's the problem with bending it around the cooler? Are you saying
that the reach is so tight that it's stressing the wires? If so, then
just buy or make an extension adapter for the fan connector cable.
Otherwise, I don't understand what you are worried about.

Ok, I was just about to give up hitting the yellow arrow back, I was on my
last click and then I was going to figure I didn't post anything here.
Alright, I did change it back to where the wires are coming out directly to
the where the CPU fan mobo connector is right there in front of it. So no
wrapping around the device, that's a moot problem now. Yeah, I think you have
the right idea to direct the air out toward the exhaust fan.
As far as directing the question here, can't you read the first line of my
message where I explained why I was asking here, Pegasus?
Ok, I'm greatful for the response and now I have no problems getting my
questions across with this HP Pavilion 503n PC using Windows XP Home editon
version 2002.
Thanks, attilathehun1

I gave you the same answer as the counter staff at McDonalds
would have given you: Go and see a doctor! You were lucky
that ShadowTek happened to spot your misplaced post. In a
hardware group you would have received a lot more attention
but if it is your preference to post hardware questions in a WinXP
newsgroup then so be it. Just as well you weren't bleeding to death . . .

Pegasus, I'm working on 2 different PCs rfight now. I just happened to be
surprised and happy that I could post a message with this HP pavilion 503n
running Windows XP Home edition Version 2002.
So get on your horse and ride over the horizon. Maybe we can get some
positive replies going instead of always hostile talk. You'd like Warcraft
the frozen throne. That game is pvp. You'd love it. Always rushing and not
being able to withstand an attack.
Thanks, attilathehun1
PS I'm not even going to come back and check wtf your reply is, so save it!
