But now the folder is grow to 18 G.
How can i shrink it?

Have you carried out a "Disk Clean Up" which can be found in "Accessories" -
"System Tools"

Maybe you should consider installing a 3rd party system cleaner application
such as "CCleaner"

"Disk Clean Up" tools tell me that there are only 45M free space to clean

did you click all the boxes for what to remove.
also click the extra options to remove all but latest restore point.

One way is to remove the swap file from C:\ by creating a dedicated swap
partition (with a minimum size = 1.5 x your RAM size), I believe. I used to
do that in Win95 and 98SE and XP and it always worked fine, but there are
more options to consider in the Vista My Computer settings, so I think
perhaps you should wait until, some expert here tells you how to do it in
Vista.
I have 4GB RAM which requires at least a 6 GB dedicated swap partition, so
there is a bit of space to be saved on my C:\ an additional advantage with
this technique is you're more liable to avoid a fragmented swap file which
is something that really slows down the machine, I've been told. I've always
thought it is a bit perverted that Windows puts everything on C:\ without
asking the user. Isn't that the safest route to a system crash, when there's
no more free space for neither a bigger registry nor swap file?
