"The value you entered isn't valid for this field" error

I created a form using the wizard. One of the field is a combo box that has
values from another table. I've gone through the properties for both tables
several times yet I still get this error message:
"The value you entered isn't valid for this field. For example you may have
entered text in a numeric field or a number that is larger than the FieldSize
setting permits."
I purposely made the several text fields larger than necessary and have only
one "special" format field - Date. The first field in the tab order is the
combo box.
Where can I look to see what's causing this error message.

The combo box has a Bound Column from its Row Source. Check the data type and
size of the Bound Column and compare it to the data type and size of the
field in the Control Source of the combo box.
