The spacebar will no longer work in Word, but works in other prog

For some reason the spacebar does not seem to want to work when I am in Word.
It works in every other program on my machine except word. Just started
happening out of the blue.

You mean "nothing happens at all", or that when you press the spacebar in
Word, something "unusual" happens?

I think you may have picked up a virus that is trying to log keystrokes.

Run a deep scan with your antivirus, and install and run Microsoft
AntiSpyWare...
