The right tool for polished web sites

Greg Smith

Hi, I have been doing some ASP.Net development with VS2003 EA and the
process is very easy, but you don't seem to have the same tools available
that you do in tools like FrontPage 2003 or DreamWeaver.

Is the good development integration between VS ASP.net and a web page tool
that will give me the ability to create a really polished looking web site?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dreamweaver or Frontpage 2003 ...

And maybe a graphics designer ; )

We use FrontPage to speedily develop HTML that we paste into ASPX pages to
create the static HTML in the page. Then we use Visual Studio.Net to do the
programming. However, as for creating a really polished looking web site,
the best tool is the one between your ears. Most people don't use it enough,
and as a result, like any other muscle, it gets sluggish and doesn't perform
well.

Microsoft makes great productivity tools. However, as in carpentry, tools
don't make the product; the carpenter does. So, when you see an escalator,
walk up or down it instead of just standing there, and you'll be way ahead
of the game.
