the red close button wont work

Everytime I click on the red "x" in the top corner to
close out of IE6, It wont close, and the only way I can
close out is if i CTRL-ALT-DEL, but IE6 is working fine
it does NOT say "not responding", which makes me think
there is something wrong with just the button, because I
can still navigate through other webpages.

any help,

When did that problem start to occur? Did you install any
other software at that time, or run any particular
Windows Updates?
