the page cannot be displayed message all th time...

Every time i run internet explorer 6 i get - the page
cannot be displayed message.
i downloaded all the latest updates and i still get this
message.
with netscape everything work perfect.
i tried to download internet explorer 6 again but during
the installation i got another error which says that there
is some kind of compability problem...
i don't know what to do.
i don't like netscape!!
please HELP ME...

Just a shot in the dark but could be a Java issue.

It is because the updates for IE6 and Service Pack 4 are, for the lack of a better term, corrupted
You might be able to salvage the mess by uninstalling the service pack and IE 6. Next downloa
and install Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-aware 6 and do their update. Then install th
Service Pack 4. After that, run them and you might get lucky. As for myself, that process worke
in the past but it failed with a recent SP4 install. I had to remove it and install as many hotfixe
as I could find to impove the system.
