The operation failed Outlook 2000

When I try to close my archive pst (folders) I get this message

"The operation failed. An object could not be found."

I'm using Outlook 2000

Have you run scanpst.exe against the file?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Plugster asked:
