the numbers on the left do not start at 1 or go in order

I have a worksheet open and the numbers on the left do not start at 1 or
follow a consecutive numbering convention. The numbering text is blue rather
than the normal gray. after about 20 lines of number ranging from 10 to 240
the numbering system goes back to the normal gray and numbers consecutively
from 240 on. Why is this doing this? how do i fix it?
