The music in my Flash video keeps playing...

There is a Flash video with music in one of my slides. There's no problem
until I advance to the next slide... everything changes like it's supposed
to, except that the music from the video continues playing throughout the
rest of the slideshow. How can I stop the music when I change the slide?

Sounds like you inserted as an object and activated it in flash player where
it will play away happily outside of powerpoint. Use the control tool box to
add a shockwave flash object and set it up with properties. There are plenty
of tutorials out there including this excellent one

I removed the embedded object and followed the directions on the tutorial
exactly... but the sound still continues to play after I've moved on to the
next slide. Does anyone know how I can make this stop?
