the most frustrating thing

Clearing out IE6 history must be the most annoying thing ever. I have tried
everything to clear the history and the only way that I can do it is to go
into the history folder and manually delete all visited websites. Why is
this? I have run anti spyware, virus checks, adaware etc etc but I still
cannot clear my visited webpage history from the internet
options>General>clear history. If I close my web browser and open it again
the visited sites are still there in the history. What is causing this? what
is the point of having a clear history option if it doesn't work?

Stop visiting sites that you don't want showing up in the history.
I use SuperCleaner (no association) to 'clean' up my history, temp
files, etc.
