The first PC dedicacted to crunching for the World Community Grid (WCG) with The PC Review Crew II is up and running, thanks to generous donations from our own dear Adywebb. The Michael John Webb PC, named after Adywebbs father, is the first of hopefully many PCs built as part of the PC Review Adopt-a-Rig project. Under this scheme, volunteers can donate parts or monetary donations which all go towards building PCs dedicated to crunching for WCG, or alternatively host completed PCs. Muckshifter has kindly agreed to host The Michael John Webb PC.

If you have any spare computer components you would like to donate to the next PC, or if you are interested in hosting a completed PC, please contact Muckshifter.

I'm embarrassed to say I have just seen this "News" ... thank you Bex. :thumb:

I'll hold the 'Tin' out and ask again ... if you have anything, even something as lowly as a 500 CPU (nearly put £££s there) then give me a PM ... I'm looking for a 20gig or larger HD for PC II

Contact me anyway if you have anything ... every little helps. :D

I have a few bit and bobs laying around. A Duron 750 any good?
Excellent ... but hang on to it for now, I'm afraid we have nothing that will run it. :(

Thanks for the offer, greatly appreciated. :thumb:

err, TD, could you please use another monica other than our team name ... something like TriplexDread would be better than actually using the team name.

You can change it in your WCG profile. :thumb:
