Every time I create a new message and hit any of the boxes (from, to, CC,
BCC) to access my company directory (mailbox), I receive the error "The
Messaging interface has returned an uknown error. If the problem persists,
restart Outlook". I've done this and also attempted to re-install Office.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is? Thanks-

Remove the Outlook Address Book service, restart Outlook and then add it
again. You can find the service in Tools-> Account Settings

There you will find several methods of resolution.

I actually attempted to do a detect and repair to see if that fixed the issue
and now when I start Outlook, I receive the message "Failed to register a VB
Sript DLL. Reinstall or run regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll to self register". I
did this and still no luck. Same message. Any thoughts?

Create a new profile:

Control Panel | Mail | Show Profiles

Taking the Outlook Address Book out of the profile did not fix it;
Uninstalling Google toolbar, desktop, etc. fixed it.
