The 'shooting star' displays this month include the April Lyrids (from the constellation of Lyra, the Harp). The peak of the shower is on the 22nd when you could see a maximum of about 15 meteors an hour. The Moon is just over last quarter which causes a bit of light-pollution which will wash out the fainter meteors.
