Hello All,
For some reason when i try to login to my w2K adv server with the
administrator acct I get this message

The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively.

I have a secondary admin acct that logs in fine, any ideas why this has
happend, and hoe to correct it?

Thanks for any ideas

Thanks for the time & info, unfortunatly, I do not see

Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Local Policies\User Rights
Assignment

under
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local
Policies\User Rights Assignment

I only see "Deny logon locally", and this is set as "not defined"
I do not see an "Allow log on locally" entry.
I do see a "Log on locally" entry set to "Not defined"

Any further help is greatly appreciated.

P.S.
I don't know if this means anything, but the clock stopped showing up in the
taskbar too.

I figured it out.
It was Domain Controller Sec Policy, Security Settings,Local Policy,User
Rights Assignment,Deny Logon Local had the Administrator acct defined. Once
removed the admin can log in again.

Thanks again for the assistance
