keep getting this message:

iexplore.exe
The instruction at "0x024397a0" referenced memory at "0x024397a0". The
memory could not be "read".

Does anyone know what this means? Is this fixable? IE keeps shutting down
on me.
I'm not a geek, plain english response will be much appreciated.
