The host POP3 could not be found.

When I respond to an add on Craigslist I get a message "The host 'POP3'
could not be found. Please verify that you entered the server name
correctly." What causes this and how do I fix it? Can anybody help me.

You should start by telling us what your preferred email method
or service is, and then perhaps we can make it work for you.
