are Minnesotans and were written up in our papers business section as
hometown boys rags to riches etc etc and claim they pull in close to
$10,000,000 a year with that little site full of bs-ware.

1) We provide an opt-in screen for each of the 3-4 software bundles
that are presented during the registration. You can simply uncheck a
box and get the screensaver without the software bundles if you choose.
2) Each bundle has it's own disclosure page, so if you don't want
to get the software bundle, say a search toolbar for your explorer for
example, than you do not have to.
3) These opt-in bundles are highly scrutinized for quality assurance,
and these are from very big, reputable companies.
I strongly disagree that the "Freeze.com stuff is garbage."

I strongly disagree that the "Freeze.com stuff is garbage." We've
put in millions of dollars throughout the years into developing our
110+ screensaver archive. Most industry insiders would say our
screensavers are the best screensavers in the whole world. As part of
our commitment to quality, we recently acquired a long-time screensaver
company called RISoftSystems (www.risoftsystems.com).
Our 85,000,000+ users can attest to our process being user friendly and
that we provide quality applications.

not to flog a bead thread, but has anyone downloaded/installed any ofI can't tell if you actually "work" there or not since you have a
yahoo email address? I am not speaking for everyone here, but I myself
don't like (won't use) ANYTHING that is portrayed as one thing and is
actually another. And that is exactly what these Screensavers are.
FREE is getting something for nothing, and this software is certainly
not that.
