the folder is full

I can't delete some of the mail in my inbox. I get a message saying "the
folder is full".
I tried downloading the service pack 2 and it was canceled saying my program
may be corrupted. Any solutions? I tried restalling the program but it errors
out. Thanks

Can you delete if you hold Shift and press Delete?
What type of email account?

Having the same problem. Outlook 2007 on a Vista Machine pop3 email. I can
delete indidual emails emails but I cannot select more than 1 and click on
delete. it tells me the folder is full. but i click on one and delete and
it deletes.... Strange.
