Thank you Robert -

The problem I am having is in Outlook 2007, Beta 2 and I checked my .pst
file and while it is quite large (1.4 GB), it is still under 2.0 GB. Oddly
enough, I did a *.ost search and found no files with .ost extensions. I
cannot make any folder smaller as I try to delete even an individual entry,
it will not and gives me the error "The folder is full"

Any other ideas? Thanks again - GeoNewClients

ANSI or UNICODE formatted pst-file?

No need to search for ost-files if you are not connected to Exchange.

Hi -

Since I am operating exclusively in an XP environment, the formatted
pst-file is probably UNICADE. I went to:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=296088

and downloaded the tool to truncate .pst files, but it gave me an error
message when I clicked on the start button that it only works with .pst files
1,900 MB.

Still the same problem - being told the folder is full while unable to
delete or move to create more space. Thanks - GeoNewClients

Run scanpst.exe against it to check it for errors.
