the file normal already exists

When I close Outlook 2003, I get a prompt indicating that "the file "normal"
already exists, do you want to replace?"

I searched for any files with the name "normal" in it and got these results:

File Extension Details for .NORMAL Type: internet shortcut

Normal Type: BIN File

Normal.FMT Type: FMT file

Normalize.dll
normalize.dll

Normal (word) type: shortcut

What can I do to make this stop happening? Thank you

It's the normal.dot file; the template file for Word. If you modify this
template (or when an add-in does) it will prompt you to save it. The fact
that you get it when using (closing) Outlook is because you've set Word as
the e-mail editor. Just save it and it should not return unless you make
another update to the template file.
