The "Edit with Front Page" option in IE isn't bringing up the page

A convenient way I normally edit my pages is by viewing the page in IE and
then going to "File" and then "Edit with Front Page." This opens the page in
Front Page as well as the subweb the page exists in (as long as I have
editing access to the site) and I am able to update the page without having
to find it through Front Page. Recently, this option brings up a broken
version of whatever page I need to edit and does not open the site in the
Folder List. Any ideas?

I have cleared the Temporary internet files and history files and by the next
day or sometimes within the same day it happens again. I've been using this
feature of Front page for years and just recently noticed this problem. My
co-workers and friends that use this feature have run into the same problem.

My computer is only about 3 months old, so I haven't defragged yet. Also,
this is happening to both co-workers and friends outside of my work. Just
curious if it was a Front Page bug.

You should run scan disk and defrag on a regular basis, at least monthly.
