I haven't tried it -- just ran across it in another group and thought
someone here might be interested.

The Dude network monitor is a new application by MikroTik which
can dramatically improve the way you manage your network
enviroment. It will automatically scan all devices within
specified subnets, draw and layout a map of your networks,
monitor services of your devices and alert you in case some
service has problems.

The site has more details about features, screenshots, &c.

Be advised that TheDude can be a resource hog. Check your settings
carefully. Default installation sets this up to run as server which is
hungry. Can be reset by MMC Services. Having said that, it is a really
nice network mapper.
