The colours on my screen are waaay to dark!

Hey guys! I have a problem with my monitor or screen or somthing! For some
reason the screen is really really dark all the time. It only appears to
really be dark when I look at pictures / go on online and offline games. For
some reason it just appears really dark, sometimes so dark I can barely see
the picture or the games! Please can someone help!

your monitor has some control buttons on it..

those control brightness and contrast.. try them first then repost if you
still have problems
