the browser is blocking a pop-up window

Hey guys,

In a few places in the secured page of my university, I
try to access my personal account, or to submit some data.
Then an error message appears at the bottom of the
browser, saying "A pop-up window was blocked". I tried to
access it from a different computer and it worked, so I
guess something with the security/privacy/firewall is
interrupting it, but I don't know what.

I'd appreciate some help about this!

IF you have Windows XP AND SP2 installed then take a look at this website:
"Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) Support Center"

IF not then you probably have a popup blocker installed...

Hi Ido,

I guess there is a popup blocker installed. If you access that page by
clicking on a link, try ctrl+click instead of click.

It might be an XPSP2 effect - I've not had the occasion to test that.
