The best free CD recording program?

I'm looking for a good freeware program for recording CD's (Nero Express -
which came with my CD drive - is just too limited for me. Can I say
"liteware"?).

What do you suggest?

My CD drive is a LG 4521b (CD-RW / DVD reader combo).
