I am trying to install an update on my Windows 2000
server. It will not complete because tftp.exe is
running. What uses tftp.exe, and how do I unload this
file?

Sounds like you have a virus. I'd get your virus scanner running. TFTP is
trivial FTP. It's usually used for stuff like net booting and uploading
firmware to devices. There are some viruses that use it to transfer things
(I think Blaster may be amongst these).
