HI,,

I have a form with textboxes I use in reports. I want the
users to change text to what they like, but it is possible
to have variable field in ethe textbox?

Example.
Dear mr. <Fieldname>, last month you ordered food for
$<fieldname>.

The fieldname is from a query

I know this is easy to do in the report, but I don't want
my users to begin messing i report design mode...

As long as the report itself is bound to a table or query you can set a text
box to have a bogus control source like "Please enter name" and "Please
enter amount" and you will be prompted to fill it in. This will only work
for a single record though as what you enter gets repeated for as many
records are in the data set -

But why don't you have this just pulling from the data?
