text validation

can someone help me validate text where there is 3 text codes in a cell.
these need to be validated against a list of about 10 text codes.
Please help my head is hurting

Unclear. What do these cells look like? How about a simple, plain text
example?

Many thanks for the help but is it possible to do this within the same cell
rather than offsetting to the next column

I've added a sheet to the sample file. On the new sheet (SameCell),
selected items are added to the data validation cell --
