Text/tables off the edge - Please help!

What are we (me and my students) doing wrong that sometimes our text and
sometimes tables run off the right edge of our paper in the Print Layout
Mode? In most all the cases we've changed the margins or changed the size of
the table. The ruler bar still has the grey area on the right margin, so it
would seem that the margin is OK, yet not. Our tables have sometimes gotten
so wide that there appears to be no way to resize them smaller. Please help
us understand. Thanks in advance! Becky and the newbies

If the table extends beyond the right margin then switch to the Normal
View so you can resize the table.

As for what you are doing to make this happen, it can be as simple as
dragging the right edge of the table too far.
