hello all,

i would like to know how can i set a text style in a cell ב

that would be subjugated a cell value....

for example:

if cell "A1" is "payed"
then the text in cell "B1" will be "blue", bold, text height 14

if not then then the text in cell "B1" will be "green", plain, tex
height 11

a. can it be done?
b. can the formula work on the value of the same cell ?
(i.e: if cel "a1"is... then the text in cell "a1" will be...)

much obliged,
ell

Use conditional formatting for this, and yes you can test on the value of the
cell using conditional formatting, access it from the edit menu. Your
formula would look like this for the first row: =$A1="payed".

tank you Jason & andrew;

i am sorry to say that it did not work,

i tried both of your suggestions,

in case i didn't understand you
please look at the image attacehd
(i tried both solutions' but 'print screen' only one.. :-)

did i misunderstood ?

thank's
Ell
