Text Size

If you go to a site like http://www.cnn.com the text is a specific size,
regardless of which Text Size has already been selected via the "View"
pull-down menu. Text at that site also stays the same size regardless of
which Text Size you might choose by using the "View" pull-down menu.

My page, http://www.loungair.com looks fine so long as my Text Size is set
to Medium, but the formatting spills all over the place if I choose a Text
Size larger than Medium.

How can I force my page to always look properly formatted, no matter which
Text Size a user may select?

Thanks for any help any one can give.

They use px for the size instead of a relative size which fools
novices like you into thinking that it can't be changed, but the rest
of us knows that there are other browsers out there like IE7, Opera or
Firefox where it is ignored and even in IE6 you can set it to ignore
it.

Consider that people usually have a good reason for using a higher
text size (their eyesight is bad) than medium.
So what would you prefer. that people leave your site because they
can't read what you have written or that your design might not look as
good as you had hoped but people can read what you wrote?

You're right, I am a novice.

I definitely want them to stay at the site and to be able to read it
comfortably.

Is there a way to preserve my formatting, while at the same time allowing
the viewer to choose their desired Test Size?

Thanks.

Yes. Build your site's infrastructure so that it resists such changes in
shape. See for example my site -

To accomplish that does require knowledge of HTML and CSS, though.
