Text size problem

I recently switched over to a new machine with Win2000 from my older 98
setup and I seem to be having a problem with IE6 that I never had before.
Since I experience this in both Administrator and User mode, I THINK it's a
browser issue, rather than a hierarchal policy issue, so I'm starting here.

Basically the text increase/decrease option on the View menu seems to have
lost some of its functionality. For instance, changing text size in
Google.com or microsoft.com is no problem, but in my brokerage account and
quite a few other places the text size is always constant, which I know
wasn't the case before I switched to the new OS. With my bad vision this is
a major issue because I'm always having to manipulate the text size,
depending on what a given page presents.

An simple example would be here,

http://www.stockwatch.com/swnet/default.aspx

and here,

https://wwws.ameritrade.com/apps/LogIn/

I have a feeling the problem is some user-configurable IE setting, but I
don't know what it is.

Yes indeed, thanks. Is that unchecked by default, or did I mysteriously
disable yet another default setting?.
