Text Import Wizard

When I open a txt file it invokes the Text Import Wizard for Excel 2003 SP3.
When a co-worker opens a .txt file the Wizard is not automatically invoked.
She can do ctrl open but she would like to have it automatically. What
setting needs to be changed to do so?

Kindly clarify. Are you trying to open the .txt from Windows explorer?

If so you need to add the extension to Explorer->Tools->File Types-> with
the type as Microsoft Excel Worksheet.
