Text Import Macro Help

Hello:

I am a seasoned Excel user, but when it comes to Macro's I haven't
found my way yet. Any help on the following will be appreciated.

I am trying to develop a macro that will import a comma delimited file
into excel. I had been working with one from the cpearson.com site,
and I couldn't get it to work properly. Possibly because it was
developed for Excel 97. Does anyone know how to do this? Is it
possible? Is there an online resource other than cpearson.com where I
would be able to find detailed code examples? Thanks in advance.
 
This task should not require code that differs from what worked in XL97. What
problems are you having with it? I don't know of other sites to look for help.
Have you searched Google for other sites and/or newsgroup posts?
