Text Fields changing case

J

Jack Cannon

I am using Access 2002. When attempting to enter data into a text field, I
have found that the data changes case from what is manually entered in some
cases.

For Example: ABcde changes to Abcde
However ABcDe remains as ABcDe

Can anyone explain what might be happening?
Or How to correct the problem?

Thanks,
Jack Cannon

Microsoft Office has a feature named AutoCorrect.
One of the options is to correct 2 initial capitals.
That would explain your first example.

Your options:
a) Set the Allow AutoCorrect property to No for your text boxes (perhaps
leaving it at Yes for comments/notes type fields.)

b) Disable this option for your Office programs.

Thanks Allen.

That took care of the problem.
I really appreciate your help.
