text duplicate

I think i have seen this subject here before but im not sure,
what i have is a txt file with a lot of single lines of text,
as in a signature generator file, i need some software to tell
me if i have duplicate line of text in the same file.

any help appreciated.

Would something like CryptEdit help?

Use the tool to sort lines alphabetically.
You will then be given the option to remove duplicate lines.
