Text drops down to new paragraph

I have been typing reports using a number or capital letter followed by a period or colon and space. Word would then "wrap" the continuing text. I have changed a setting and now all text drops below my capital or number and period line! Help! how can I UN-do this.

I think you are talking about the Hanging indent part of the paragraph
properties.
